One landscape black and white photograph that is number two of a panorama of Christchurch, 19 - 23 May 1860 taken from a tower of Government Buildings. Photograph shows large expanses of bare land with houses interspersed amongst the landscape, several of these houses are two storeys tall. Nothing can be seen in the distance indicating that this photograph was probably taken looking away from the Port Hills.
