Description
One portrait black and white photograph of Godley Statue, Christchurch, 13 November 1869 at 8am. Photograph shows Godley Statue at the centre of the image, a man is sitting to the right, on the steps at the base of the statue. The seated man is A. C. Barker, he is looking into the distance, wears trousers, a waistcoat and dark jacket, has a beard and holds a walking stick and hat. The walking stick looks to have a face carved onto each end of the arm crutch.
