Description
One square black and white photograph that is the first of three photographs that fit together to form a panorama of Christchurch in 1860. Image shows a river in the foreground with a road running next to it, this road is a feature of the panorama and runs on an upwards angle from left to right. Further roads or streets are the subject of the middle of the photograph, there is a dense group of houses in the background and the Port Hills can be seen in the distance.
