My Great Uncle 3 times removed David Seton Melville, went to Christchurch from Adelaide, South Australia, as the Manager of the Union Bank in Christchurch. He married in NZ and had 5 sons and 1 daughter. All of his sons went to the Collegiate College, became involved in the Boer War and their eldest son, Leslie Seton Melville lost his life whilst the other boys survived and went on to achieve positions various countries.
