Commemorative cover of the New Zealand Centennial 1840-1940, printed with a photograph of 'Russell, First Seat of Government in New Zealand'. Two New Zealand Postage and Revenue Centennial 1840-1940 stamps are affixed to the envelope: one and a half pence (Victoria, George V, Edward VII, Edward VIII, King George VI), and two and a half pence (Signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, 6th Feb. 1840). Postmarked 'CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION N.Z. 2JA40.930AM' on the front of the envelope.
