Description
Three New Zealand Postage and Revenue Coronation of King George VI stamps, overprinted 'COOK IS'DS.', affixed to an envelope: one penny, two and a half pence and six pence. Postmarked 'RAROTONGA 1 JE 37.1030AM' on the front of the envelope, and 'TAITAPU N.Z 3 JL 37 I' on the back of the envelope. A registered mail stamp is also affixed to the envelope: 'R No. 113 RAROTONGA". A note from the Director-General, Post and Telegraph Department, is enclosed.
