Description
A registered letter envelope printed with a New Zealand Postage and Revenue 'Mitre Peak' four pence stamp. Attached to the envelope are a New Zealand Postage and Revenue 1840-1940 Centennial one and a half pence stamp (featuring five heads of state) and an 'Arrival of Maoris in New Zealand 1350' half penny stamp. A registered mail 'R No. 38 AUCKLAND, C.1' stamp is also affixed. Postmarked 'AUCKLAND N.Z REGISTERED 13AP43' on the front of the envelope, and 'TAITAPU N.Z 16AP43 2' on the back of the envelope.
