Description
One New Zealand nine pence Postage and Revenue Peace stamp, 'Southern Alps From Chapel Window - Waiho Gorge'. Postmarked 'CHRISTCHURCH C.I. N.Z. REGISTERED 25FE53 6-PM' on the front of the envelope, and 'TAI TAPU N.Z. 26 FE 53. 1' on the back. A registered mail stamp 'R No. 876 Christchurch C.1' is affixed to the envelope.
