Description
First day cover of New Zealand stamps 'Commemorating the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth'. Three New Zealand Postage and Revenue stamps are affixed to the envelope: one penny, two and a half pence, and six pence, all titled '12th May 1937'. Postmarked 'AUCKLAND REGISTERED 13MY37.4-PM' on the front of the envelope and ''TAITAPU N.Z. 17MY37 1' on the reverse of the envelope. A registered mail stamp is also affixed to the envelope, printed 'R No. 752 AUCKLAND, C.1'. The back of the envelope is stamped 'A. Brodie, Ltd, Stamp Dealers, 19 Hellaby's Bldgs. Auckland, N.Z.'
