Description
Official souvenir cover of the New Zealand Health Stamps, 1945, printed with a drawing of a young child and the words 'Buy health postage stamps for Children's Health Camps - Children's health is the nation's wealth'. Two conjoined one penny New Zealand Postage Health stamps are affixed to the envelope. The stamps were sold for one and a half pence, with proceeds above postage donated to children's health camps. Postmarked 'CHRISTCHURCH C.I. N.Z. 1 OC 45. 8 PM' on the front of the envelope and 'TAITAPU N.Z 2 OC 45 1' on the reverse of the envelope.
