Description
Four conjoined postage stamps, Western Samoa Postage and Revenue, 1914-1939 Coastal Scene, one penny. Issued to commemorate 25 years of New Zealand's control of the mandated territory of Western Samoa. Designed by J Berry, engraved and printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson and Company, England, on paper watermarked multiple NZ and star. Perforated 13 1/2x14. Selvedge attached with 'A 1' printed across the lower edge.
