Description
Four conjoined postage stamps, New Zealand Postage and Revenue, five pence. Printed by De La Rue and Company on 'Royal Cypher' grade paper, perforated 14x13 1/2. Numerous impressions in Plate 2 were re-entered before the plate was put to press. Seventeen impressions became pitted and were later re-entered. Selvedge attached with '2' printed in the lower right corner. Additional detail sketches.
