Description
One proof of a New Zealand Postage and Revenue stamp, one and a half pence. To symbolise New Zealand's answer to the Empire's call to participate in the South African war a design was chosen by J Nairn of Wellington. The die was engraved by H G Thomas of New York where the plate was made.
