Description
Four conjoined stamps, New Zealand Postage, three pence. Selvedge is attached with a '2' printed at the bottom. With the purpose of preventing the removal of pen marks or other markings, some of the paper had prussiate of potash added to the pulp, resulting in a bluish tint. Watermark NZ and star. Perforated 12 1/2.
