One postage stamp, New Zealand Postage, two pence with postmark. Printed by Perkins, Bacon and Company, London. Watermark large star. 66,000 copies of this value were issued. The paper is more or less bleuté because of a chemical reaction between ferric oxide in the ink and potassium ferrocyanide in the paper’s sizing.
