One boxed decorative Moorcroft plate. The plate depicts a pair of takahe, their chick and an egg. The background of the plate includes a snowy peak, ferns and other vegetation. The box is in three parts: base, lid and slip cover. This is one of a limited edition (134/150) from the Visions of New Zealand series made in 2009.
