He was a popular and sn cess ful publican. He and R.P. Hill had prospect ed at the head of the Rakaia and he married Hills sister. He was sergt. major of the Ch.Ch . Artillery Volumes and gave 2 silver cups shooting. Warner was the first hotel keeper to advertise bath rooms July 73.
