Marks/Inscriptions: r. 263 Shaw, W. H. (1847-90) was sec. to the Canty. Land Bd. He was parsons church warden at Meri vale Ap. -84 and probably other years. He was a lay member of the Synod . He was a promoter and supporter of the S.P.C.A and had been Sec. for years. He suffered from Agee. Rev. Flavel in LT. 21.12.12 spoke of his founding the S.P.C.A in Ch.Ch and of the good treatment his church Warden and congregation gave him at Merv le. He d. of influenza at Fendalton left a widow 17.4.90 ag. 43 family of 6. bur. Addn Cem. LT. 18.4.82 : 21.12.12 : Addn Cem.
