Marks/Inscriptions: N. 132 Nolan, Michael (1829-1914) was born at Rath kale. He came out to Melbourne , then went to Auckland and finally to Ch.Ch. In each place he carried on his business as a tailor + mercer . In Ch.Ch he had his premises in Colombo St where Kin cards shop later stood He finally gave up business on his own account and went f into Ballan ty w 's shop and stayed there some years, and his wife joined the milliner4y deft. He lived for some time at Gov. Bay and then at Sumner and finally retired to Ch.Ch where he died bur.
