Marks/Inscriptions: N. 125 - Noble of S. Canty had a well known horse called Nourmahal which was matched again st Thomson 's Meri legs for £20. There was great locat excitement over the match. Nourmahal was the fitter of the two and won easily. Sam Williams gave a big party at his hotel , it being also lensing day.
