Marks/Inscriptions: M. 686. Mount fort, Benjamin Woolfield ( was a son of Thomas Mount fort of Birmingham. He was trained as an architect and was articled to Richard Carpenter and had further training under Gilbert Scott. He and his wife Emily and his sister Susanna, - came out in the Charlotte Jane in 1851 ; af so his brother Charles Wheeler and his wife. The Mount forts were one of the first fom families to make their way over the hill and settle in Ch.Ch. His first major comm iss1on in Canty was Holy Trinity Church Lylt.
