Marks/Inscriptions: H. 267 Harte, Joseph (1810 -80) lived at The Grove, CAther stone , Warwickshire. before he came out to N.Z. The family owned a bank in the neighbour hood. H was supposed to have made a run away match with Carolina Oliphant dau of Sir Henry Oliphant, she being let down on sheets knotted to gether by her maid.
