Marks/Inscriptions: H. 150 Hardie, Robert (18 9-1915) was b. in Ars hire and was trained as an accountant in Glasgow and arrived in Auck. in '65 In 174 he came to Ch.Ch. and was engaged by P. Cunningham + Co grain merchants . He then became accountant t o the Grain Agency . He went into business as a public accountant and in '92 joined the stat of the N.Z Farmers Co op Assoc. He was appointed to be Sec. and manager in '99 cod was later gen. manager ; he resigned in 1907. For 6 years he was a member of the Linwood Town Bd. and for 2 years chairman. marr. at Auck. Lydia dau of Thos. Hancock , brewer of Newmarket. Auck. 4 sons 3 daus. she was b. 5.5 .42 d. 19.1.10. He was b. 22.5.39 d. at his home Whiter h A v. Lower Ricc. 29.9.15 ag 75. 2' dau.
