Marks/Inscriptions: H. 134 t Hanna, William John (1845-1916) came out in the Christ of Fame arriving 29.1.63 . Michael Hanna and his wife were also on board. They were probably brothers. Both worked in the Church Bush at Kaiapoi after they arrived. He joined his brother Thomas in farming at Sefton ; s0 these three were brothers Later he bought land at Broomfield, Amberley and farmed successfully He retired to Leithfield to live. He was a director of the Sefton Dairy Co. marr. 17.4.78 at Sefton Presby Church by Rev. J. Me Into sh Elizabet 2' dau. James Vallance He d. Leithfield 16.9.16 ag. 71 His farm was called Silverstone wife. d 10.4.37 ag. 77 according to Marr. Reg. he was living both bur. Balcairn Cem. at H1arles tin in 1907 He left a widow + 3 marr. daus.
