Marks/Inscriptions: H.16. Hadler. Christian Hen rick (1830 -1914) was born in the parish of Redan Germany and was brought up on a farm. He came to Lylt. in '56 on the Egmont. Bishop Harper and the Merton family were in board. He worked for 2 years at the Styx and then moved to the Masri Bush. In 62 he was living at Woodend where he had bought R.S. 1796 of 20 acres. He applied to be put on the electoral roll in that year. He soon got a team of bullocks and went in for timber caring. He saved money and bought 168 ac in the Amberley dist and called his farm Clue field. He served for 19 years an the Amberley - Sch. Comm. and became a churchwarden of the Augie can berle4y Church in 82 marr. (1) Grace Ewing. Se 27.4.59.
