Marks/Inscriptions: H.12.1 Haden, Walter (1856-1916) worked in the East India Docks as a young man as a clerk. After 412 years there , he resigned and went into the Railway , House , Easton Sq. London. He came to N.Z. in '82 and entered Clearing H the railway service and was stationmaster at Prebbleton and then Hamilton. Later he worked in the clerical branch, Goods Dept. He retired in super annat on in 1915 marr. Anne He d. White leigh Av 14.4.16 ag. 60 left a widow, 2 sons, 2 daus. 1 son went to 1914 war was in camp Palm. North. dau. Irene , school teacher.
