Marks/Inscriptions: H.5 Hackett, Paul (1841- ) was epst was born in Co. Antrim and came out with his wife Mary in the Tiptree which arrived 20.1.64. He was elected to the new East Malvern Rd Bd. July. 71. He failed to get on again neat y ear Jay. 2 He lived in an is slated place just over the Kowai. - more or less in the river bed. He had a small farm, went in for contract work and was a great talker. He was tall and cadaver ous . He walked for miles leading his horse but used it for crossing rivers . When Mt Tor less homestead ( was burnt down he helped to save valuables , directed by Walter Karslake Dec. 70. He had a family : dau. Mary. pass. list. Ref. Lib.
