Marks/Inscriptions: G.509 Gunson. William (1828-74) was a gardener by trade. He lived first at Avonside and later settled at Courtenay and farmed there . He was elected to the comm. of the Courtenay Farmers Club L '71. He was on the comm. b. July 7 elected to get the church built at Courtenay. T.M. Anson was char man. He was a member of the Halkett Sch. Com m. He was an Odd low and when he died mary Add ellos attended his funeral . The Rev. F. ember, formerly of Courtenay went from Lylt. to take the service , Jan '74. marr. at Avonside, 7.10.58 Margt. Graham dau of Wm. Graham of Lylt. wit. was John Carell of Lylt. - another gardner and a brother of the second Mrs Wm. Graham. He d. at Cour teary 13.1.74 ag. 46. widow Margt. at home of her son-in-law .
