Marks/Inscriptions: F. 344 Fraser, Richard (1843- was born in Glasgow and educ. at Edi. from, He was a farm worker bs his youth. He and his young wife came out in the Canterbury in 174. He was a plough man in Canty. and was bead ploughman + working ploughman for J.A. Johnston of Lauriston - for 5 years. He then bought 300 ac. at Lyndhurst. In 1901 he left Lynd hurst and bought 480 ac. L.1.P. at Glenavy. marr. '74 Mary Adair of Cambuslaing.
