Ina heavy poll he was returned top in Jan. 75 He continued to be a member till he retired in 88. He was one of the comm. formed to organise the first Canty Rifle volunteers. When St Albans became a in ' y he wars elected to the a Borough i Council and again in '82. His home in Crescent Road was called Spring Villa.
