Marks/Inscriptions: B. 947. Alexander Bullick , Thomas Affo (1836 -1909) was born at Belg rove, Ireland f son of (probably ) Rev. Alexander Bullick who d. at the Rectory Ard keen , Co. Down 29 .5.77. He came to N.Z. in 62 and landed at Nelson; but came on to Canty and joined the firm of J.T. Peacock + 0 at Lylt. Later he was with the firm of Sclanders , Fletcher + Co at Nelson and ChCh. He was mana gor of the ChCh branch for a long time. When t Fletcher retired and formed the fain which became Fletcher , Humphries he continued to manage the firm of Sclanders + Co . Finally he took over the business him self and carried it on till '99. Wee when he retired. He was a member of the Canter bury Club. His only relation in N.Z. was Mrs Dowling of Oamaru . He d. at his home Papanui ld 1.12.09 aged 73 and was buried at o anaru.
