Marks/Inscriptions: B. 487 Blackler , Edwin (1828 -1906) was born in Devon port. Eng and emigrated Ho Adelaide in '47 in the unceasing Royal. He returned to Eng. in '59 and came out to Canty in the Robert Small arriv ing 9.1.60 . He described himself as a mason; he had a wife and 4 ch. On the ship wee the first lot of merr who were to work on the tinl r the English Curt racers. He continued to work for Holmes and Richardson in til the job was fin shed and then continued to work as a stone mason . He finally became a sexton. He was a Bet0taller fom '74 and took an active part in temperance work. marr. in South Aust. in '50 2 sons 1 dau. He d. 20.9.06 at Lylt. aged 78. LT. 1.2.60.
