Marks/Inscriptions: B. 471 Bissett hurst pher ( 1833 -93) of Stirlingshire, a shepherd , He and his wife arrived by the Queen of the Mersey , 19.10.62. He worked at White rock and then moved to S. Canty in 64. He became marr age of O gain for W.K. macdonald and was there tel about '76 when he bought a farm called Bantu skin on the S. side of the Orari River. He was a member of the Temuka R.B. Both he and his wife were vory big, strong , people. marr. in In Wherland shire Anne McDonald 8 ch. He d. at BanJa kine 9.8.93.
