I0aps They diss. part. 8.2.66 and in '68 he bought land at Courtenay and later increased it to 800 acres . He called his farm "Apsleay" He had been postmaster at the Coal Track cas the road was then called) He was A member of the boul Rd. Bd. ande Sch. comm . He was for 14 years chairman of the Domain Bd and was see . and later pres. of the Courtenay A. + P. Assoc. He was Got. land valer for the dist. for more than twenty years . He served on the selwyn n C.C. the Malvern C.C. the Selwyn Planta hon Bd. When he bought a hew bit of land all his neighbours turned out with their teams.
