Simon McRae who was the licensee said at the ingest that he had called there, He was slight ly in liquor but was not drunk . About four days after wards , George Robe ins on. in crossing the river , Saw the wheels o sphin - dray up side down in der a terrace . The horse was lead and Beattie s dead body was under the cart.
