Marks/Inscriptions: A. 121 (1840-1919) Allen, William Frederick known as i Baltic Jack" a rover , shepherd , station manager. He was one Caton droves in the cattle drie to Dunedin which landed Caton (q.v.) in aul. He gave Enrdence concer ung Caton and some horses Ap. 69. He managed St. Helens for F.W. Delamain in the 60's and 70's Later he manage to Hororata stalin for F.J. Savill when he was away in England. He also managed Rain cliff fir the Trust + Loan Aso0c. He was the 4' son of the Rev. W. Allen. (1) married 13.12.84 Lucretia dau of James M. Thompson of Lylt. she died as Tinwald marr 127 Margaret Jordan, 29, b. Devonshire dau. of walter 16.4.85. Jordan , Cob. officer He d. - 79 and Seaman Reddecliffe. 9.9. 19 aged his wife Margaret Jane d. 7.6.22 aged 60 he 4s.7; both bur. Ashburton Cem. C. of E. The Rev. Wm. Allen was Rector of BoTher ston , Pembroke shire : he marr his + ' cousin Frances Margaret 2' dau of James Allen of Freestone Hall. The Alen family seat was Bilton , Pem broke shire.
