One Sung Dynasty, Tenmoku Honan bowl; thick black-glaze; glaze does not cover base and foot ring; thick body structure; rim has a flat side that has a sharp noticeable join to the bowl on the outside whilst on the inside the rim is indistinguishable from the rest of the bowl's body; round unglazed ring inside the bowl; foot ring with small crack under base. Wooden separate base.
