Lobed Jar: Tang Dynasty Stoneware

Description
One Tang Dynasty stoneware jar; lobed white body; upper half clear-glazed; the shallow mouth is surrounded by four evenly spaced decorative handles that sit on the shoulder; just above mid body is a pinch raised line that goes around the whole body creating a ledge on which the glaze has rested on thus making it thicker above this raised line; solid foot ring for base.
