One landscape colour digital photograph taken on 26 May 2013 on the corner of Norwich Quay and Canterbury Street, Lyttelton. The photograph shows the sites of the Royal Hotel, Shadbolt House, and the Lyttelton Hotel along Norwich Quay. The Wunderbar and the repair and strengthening work underway on the Lyttelton Working Mens Club/The Loons are visible in the mid ground.

Built in 1909 the building has had a variety of uses including a garage and the Lyttelton Waterside Workers Social Club. More recently the Lyttelton Working Mens' Club has provided rehearsal and performance space to the group which has become the Loons Circus Theatre Company. This partnership has drawn up plans and has begun to restore the building and convert the upper floor into a theatre, complete with a fly tower to enable aerial performances. The construction of this tower is visible to the left of this photograph.
