This red cap, featuring the logo of the Hawkes Bay under 19s softball team, has been decorated with signatures and messages. The cap was left at the Canterbury Television (CTV) site as a tribute to the 115 people who died when the building collapsed during the 22 February 2011 earthquake. This cap along with many other tributes were recovered from the CTV site, in partnership with Christchurch City Council, to be added to Canterbury Museum’s collection on the first anniversary of the February earthquake.
