Bit was found on Quail Island in 1986 by donor. The bit was sticking out of a bank next to the walking track on the North Eastern Side of Quail Island (Lyttelton Harbour to the left when looking towards Lyttelton).: Quail Island/Lyttelton Harbour - Whakaraupo/Lyttelton/Christchurch/Canterbury/South Island/New Zealand: 1986
