Edward Wilson's Science Equipment: Pipette Absorption

Production date
Pre 1910
Description
A clear glass pipette with a natural rubber knob used to suck up chemicals from the interior of a bottle. The pipette is bulbous in the middle and tapers off at the base to an angular point. Above the bulbous section the glass is waisted to a shaft to which is fitted a natural (red) rubber bulb. The exterior of the bulbous section of glass appears frosted this may be because the surface has been ground to form a liquid tight seal.
