The Lutheran Church that was located on the corner of Worcester Street and Montreal Street in central Christchurch is featured in this photograph from 1985. The original church on this corner was called Deutsche Kirk and was built by the German Benefit Association, formed in 1871. The original wooden church existed on the site from 1872-1933, when it was replaced by the building in this photograph. The Church had been demolished prior to the 2010-2011 Canterbury earthquakes.
