Researcher comments/remarks
This photograph demonstrates how St John’s Anglican church, which was located on Latimer Square, looked in 1985. The church sustained damage during the 4 September 2010 earthquake, which was compounded by the 22 February 2011 earthquake. The church has since been demolished and in 2013 the location became home to the temporary Anglican Cardboard Cathedral.
