Description
A tin flask with internal glass liner. This flask is constructed of an outer casing made from tin with a zinc finish, inside sits a glass cylinder with silvered exterior, this is separated from the tin exterior by a corrugated cardboard liner. The majority of the exterior of the tin exterior has a stippled type finish, the top of the cylinder and the base are of press tin with a smooth finish. The very top of the cylinder has been reduced with an exterior threading fitted. The glass liner is held in place at the top of the cylinder only. There is a cork in the very top of the flask. The top of the flask is protected by a pressed tin cap, this cap has an impressed screw thread in it. The cap can also double as a small cup. The very top of the cap has the following information impressed in to it:
