Description
A brown leather sewing kit designed to form a roll, with a thin strap and buckle to keep it closed. Contains buttons, thread, needles, and safety pins.

Sewing kit is made from brown leather. At its core are two rounded ends, which have been sewn 3/4 of the way around to the flat section of leather that constitutes the body of the roll. This flat section has sewn into it a length of white cotton material. At the end towards the point of closure there is another section of leather sewn to the inside, to this has been added two tags of white cotton material. To the white cotton material sewn into the roll a number of small black metal buttons have been sewn, these have printed upon them the following:
Our Own Make

Down the middle of this white cotton material a thin brown leather strap has been sewn at certain points.
To the white cotton tags of material near the opening, a needle and black cotton thread have been inserted.
Inside the roll near the edge the following has been printed in blue ink:
W.L

Inside the bottom of the roll there is a yellow fabric backed folder with two sections of pink material sewn into it down the centre. Into the material have been inserted four needles of various lengths and thickness and two safety pins of different sizes.

There is a thin leather strap that runs right around the outside of the roll, this is held into the roll by two small slits in the roll that act as a loop, either side of this there is tooling. The brown leather strap has a metal buckle, which has also a brown leather covering.
