Description
IGY Kitbag (duffle type) owned by Trevor Hatherton - IGY Science leader and first winter over at Scott Base. Heavy canvas (brown/fawn) with pull out top with drawstring. Brass eyelets around lower top. Has "HATHERTON" in ink on one side, rope blanket stitched between base and sides to give stable bottom. Has original paper tag with DRT Hatherton, Geophysics Division, DSIR Welling attached to one eyelet.
