ECW jacket
Description
Extreme Cold Weather jacket Bureau of Aeronautics US Navy. Originally inner jacket and hood were detachable, hood lined in fake fur, with reindeer fur lining, bright green outer. Jacket made Winter 1964 and used by Bill Lucy, winter leader Vanda 1969. Has New Zealand research label 1963 and Scott Base ski club Antarctica both sewn onto front.
