Knitted Scarf: Rainbow
Description
Hand made striped knitted scarf with coloured stripes representing the colours of the Aurora. Personalised on lower ends with "IGY 1956 - 9" on one end and "Neil" on the other. Knitted and presented by the CWI (Canterbury Women's Institute), one to each expedition member for use during the International Geophysical Year and Trans Antarctic Expedition 1956 - 59.
