Description
Entitled 'Leaning Vessel'. Burnished clay. Tall decorative vase. Follows angled shape of triangle base, giving vase three sides and edges, with wide base tapering at middle while curving away from the straight/centred lines which rise from teh base. Taper opens again to 100mm wide neck top, with triangular opening sloping from flat back at 45 degrees to front edge. Decorated with mottled copper/bronze lustre, with varying shades of coppered greens, browns, silvers, blues and reds ("burnished clay with sawdust smoke lustres"). Base stamped.
